Injury can happen to any player no matter what level

You may or may not know that Paul Grant has been seriously injured playing for Ellesmere Port RUFC.

On Saturday 3rd December Paul Grant was representing Ellesmere Port RUFC, taking to the pitch like he has done for over 20 years. During the game Paul was playing hooker and took part in a scrum which ended up collapsing. Since then Paul has ended up in hospital undergoing surgery on a fractured spine with little to no movement from the neck down. Paul is being cared for in Walton Hospital. At this time of the year, with this injury, I can't imagine the worry him and his family are going through, so the last thing they need to have on their minds is a car payment or mortgage. If we can give them some comfort in knowing they have a support network out there they can fully concentrate on Granty!

Granty played 200 games in the front row for Warrington 1st XV in the period upto 2012. He was a 100%er when playing for Warrington.
