Warrington RUFC – COVID Briefing Update
“Lockdown – Again!” – 6th January 2021

Whilst we hoped that our next briefing would be letting you know how we were returning to training – sadly that is not the case and this briefing gives details on all Community rugby activity being suspended until further notice.

"While this is not the way we hoped to start 2021, we all need to play our part and strictly adhere to Government guidance over the next few weeks to protect our communities and to enable the vaccine to be as effective as possible, so we can all begin to return to a more normal way of life, including rugby, in the coming months," said rugby development director Steve Grainger.”

Warrington RUFC has already suspended all rugby activity and the clubhouse has been closed. A programme of lockdown rugby activity for all teams, consisting of activities organised by both the RFU and by the club is currently being compiled. So, please watch out for future communications from your coaches with more details. If you have any queries please contact the WRUFC COVID group via the following email: covid@warringtonrufc.co.uk .
