Welcome to Warrington Micros rugby for the 2023/24 season. Our season has started on Sunday 29th August, but we welcome new members all year round. We look forward to seeing all boys and girls in Year 1 or Reception classes for academic year 2023-2024 at WRUFC Micros rugby. Micros rugby is non-contact (i.e. No tackling) and all about learning the basic skills of the game. This is done using a wide range of enjoyable games and exercises. There is lots of teamwork, lots of running around and more than anything having FUN!

Training starts at 9.00am at Grapenhall Sports Club and lasts for 1 hour. Players should wear suitable kit with any sort of studded boots. Warmer clothing will be necessary further into Autumn/Winter, although for the last few years we have secured an indoor venue for those colder months of December - February to continue training. The club bar and kitchen are open every Sunday, serving breakfast butties, teas/coffees and drinks.

As Micros coaches we aim to make the rugby experience as much fun and as inspiring as we possibly can for every child and to give them the best start in their rugby careers. We are all CRB/DBS cleared and at varying stages of our coaching qualifications.

Parking is limited at the club so please follow the directions of the parking marshals and park considerately.

We do require more coaching help so please let me know if you are willing to help in any shape or form. We do ask parents to get involved too, so parents wear trainers and be ready for some fun.
