Rebels hit try scoring form in first home game of the season!

Whether it was being at home or the improvement in the weather conditions, the Rebels hit top form for the visit of Stockport.

Travelling with a large squad the visitors were keen from the outset to play a high number of fixtures, something that never seems to worry our players who, have grown accustomed to getting a lot of game time and seem oblivious to fatigue!

The visitors' request for five games allowed us to minimise substitutions so it was hugely satisfying to win four of the five matches and to only lose the remaining game 6-8.

This week we got our weekly trophies back so instead of reporting on five games I'll just recognise the award winners

Coaches award for effort went to Zak Mitchell who displayed the most important player skill…he listened to the coaches!!!!
