The Club are sorry to report the death of Dave Delooze, Dave was a fine player, a gentleman with a great sense of humour. He started with the colts and appeared for the first team in the 1968/69/70 seasons, he impressed with his strong performances and turned professional with Wigan Rugby League club playing 19 games before being released. In those days’ players having turned professional could not return to the amateur game but a certain ‘Bernard Crabtree’ might appear for a number lower team club games. Dave finished his playing career with Crossfields RL.

Funeral for Dave Delooze was held on 1st May 2025 at the Chapel of Warrington Cemetery at 1:15pm followed by interment at the family plot. Wake held at Walkers Club. Long Lane Warrington
