Are you inspired by England’s Red Roses?
If so, come and give Rugby a try by joining Warrington RUFC Women & Girls. Stay fit, build confidence, and have good fun – all in good company!
Our first event will be Friday 15th May 2026 with Touch Rugby as well as a taster session especially for beginners. Friday sessions will continue through Summer across all age groups and we’ll be aiming to enter competitive and friendly matches as we move into the 2026-2027 season. Will you be coming with us?
Why join us?
We would love to welcome new players of any age and experience to join the Women & Girls team. Whether you would like to make new friends, build your fitness and confidence, or just have tons of fun playing rugby we will make you welcome.

Facilities
The club is based in Grappenhall with good, female-friendly changing facilities, pitches, equipment, and coaching team.
The clubhouse is a fabulous place for socialising and hosts events throughout the year, so keep an eye on our socials to see what’s coming up.
Want to watch the Women’s 6 Nations, kicking off on the 18th April? The club is a great place to watch live with fantastic atmosphere!
Training
At first, training will take place on Friday nights from 6pm onwards for Touch Rugby and Girls ‘Try Rugby’ activities.
Friday evening Touch Rugby sessions are for all ages and abilities, and provide children’s activities, meaning Mums can come along and play too. There is a BBQ with music afterwards, giving good time to socialise and make new friends.
As we move towards the 2026-2027 season, there will be further age group specific sessions on Wednesdays from 7pm.
Volunteers
We have qualified team of coaches at the club, inclusive of men and women. However, we depend on volunteers to progress. If you, as a parent or player, would like to help in any capacity please get in touch by emailing us at womenandgirls@warringtonrufc.co.uk.
