Welcoming Tyldesley RUFC to The Fortress for their first ever match against another team Warrington Under 7s played with smiles and enthusiasm in the bucket load. Fielding 2 teams a piece both sets of players were very evenly matched.

We had some scintillating running as well as an abundance of great defensive work in the tagging. The work in the build up to this was apparent as all the players played the game in the truest spirit of rugby.

Every player deservedly finished with a respectful handshake and then into the clubhouse for sausage and chips.

Also a huge thank you to Tyldesley RUFC for the great effort and enjoyable games. Thank you to all the parents and grandparents for turning up to support let's hope we have the same turnout when the weather turns.
