Travelling to the face Wirral RUFC will always be tough, a great club with pedigree, that develops from the ground up. This visit was no different. Initially we tried to play with uncontested breakdowns but quickly realised that it was either sink or swim, and swim they did.

Every player stepped up to the challenge set and really started to put their bodies on the line. Some really brave and fierce defence met the hard, good lines of running that Wirral were producing. Coupled with the stringent defence was some great running of our own. This was made even more damaging by some brilliant awareness to keep the ball alive with some timely offloads.

A huge thank you to our hosts Wirral RUFC a great morning was had by all. Look forward to many matches in the future.
