U11s took to the field today against 2 very well drilled and explosive teams in Ormskirk and Tyldesley, both teams came packed with big string ball carriers and silky speedster ready to take it to the Warrington sides.

From the outset it was clear that Warrington’s defence was winning the collisions and this in turn gave many opportunities for the turnover. Turnovers from which Warrington set about turning defence into attack and creating chances through overloads and sheer pace to score at will despite the best efforts of both opposition teams. Warrington really showed what they are capable of and it was great to see the product of training coming into the match days as they put into practices some of the areas the coaches have been working on.

It was great to see many parents, grandparents and siblings on the sidelines cheering the team on, this week has really set a benchmark for the team that will hopefully propel them onwards and upwards.

Next week we travel to Bowdon who will as always be a tough well drilled outfit and one that Warrington will have to be on top form for.
