We’re already well into our pre-season training, with competitive fixtures kicking off in September. Our U14s season saw plenty of positives — we won more games than we lost, and while we didn’t quite reach our peak when it mattered most, the experience has laid a strong foundation for what’s to come.

This season, we step into tougher competitions and we’re ready for the challenge. The squad is full of talent, energy, and potential — and we’re always open to new faces! Whether you're brand new to rugby or have experience, there’s a place for you here. No matter your background or physical ability, rugby union has something for everyone. We offer a structured, safe, and supportive environment for all players to learn and grow.

Over the past year, it’s been fantastic to see our team not only develop on the field but also grow closer as friends and teammates — something that’s been just as rewarding for the coaches, parents, and supporters to witness.

Training and Match Info:

Training Nights: Wednesdays

Match Days / Additional Training: Sundays

Venues: Grappenhall Sports Club or Bridge Lane (locations will be confirmed in advance each week)

After our games, players from both teams are invited to enjoy post-match food in the clubhouse, and parents often stick around for a friendly catch-up at the bar.

As coaches, our aim is to make rugby inspiring and enjoyable for every child. We want every player to have fun, improve, and build confidence. All of our coaches are DBS checked and working towards or already hold recognised rugby coaching qualifications.
